In my spare time, I work as a freelance writer, editor, researcher, and author's assistant. Having earned perfect scores on the writing sections of the PSAT, SAT, and ACT, I am a stickler for grammar.
This fall, I did some copyediting for The Young Investor's Guide To Real Estate by Monte Malhotra. I also did research and writing for the forthcoming Food Truck Guide by David Weber, president of the New York Food Truck Association. I'm currently writing content for UMCOR's new, yet-to-go-live website.
My rates are negotiable, so the following figures are just to give you a general idea. For basic proofreading (grammar and spelling), I charge $5 per page. For more in-depth editing (fact-checking, sentence structure, organization), I charge $7 per page. For research and writing, I charge $15 per hour. I give discounts to family and friends. I'm also happy to work with people on their college application essays. Contact me for more information.
This 11 by 17 inch acrylic tribute to aspens in the fall is for sale!
I've got a newly designed website live for L.I.F.E. Inc. of Salinas, CA.
